It is with great pride and commitment that I welcome you to Westview Special School, a School of Skill located in the beautiful province of the Eastern Cape. I am honoured to lead a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about unlocking the potential of every learner who walks through our doors.

We follow the Occupational Curriculum, purposefully designed to integrate foundational academic support with skills training within the technical occupational stream. But we go further than teaching a trade in isolation - our learners engage in real production, experiencing the full value chain from raw material to finished product. This active participation builds the confidence that comes from genuine, marketable skills.

Through this pathway, we foster independence, resilience, and long-term employability. We believe every learner has value and a real role to play in the workforce and in society; we equip them not only with essential life skills but with the industry-relevant competencies the modern world of work demands.
