At Westview we teach more than skills - our focus is the holistic development of learners as they mature and prepare for adult life. Beyond creating an understanding of the supply chain and value of time in the workplace we focus on creating social awareness. The value of mutual respect, respect for themselves and each person they interact with. 

We reach out into the community where learners interact with the public in real-life situations - gradually exposing them to the working world under the safe banner of learners acquiring experience, without the demanding pressure that comes later in real work situations.

Learners are not employed or paid during placement. In return, host businesses gain the opportunity to see a learner's ability first hand - their reliability, attitude, and skill in a genuine working environment - with no obligation, and the option to engage further with learners they come to see as valuable future employees.
